1. Background on Forgetting Reolink Device Password
This article refers to the password for the Reolink device, not the Reolink account or App passwords. Refer to Introduction to the Password of Reolink App/Client, Reolink Account and Reolink Cameras to determine which password you are looking for and the corresponding recovery method.
2. Important Notes for Forgotten Username and Password
Username: The super admin account is admin (in lowercase).
If you have created other admin accounts or user accounts and want to log in to that account, use the username you created. Otherwise, use admin. If you're unsure whether you've created an account, try logging in with admin. By default, admin will be displayed during the login interface, so you don't need to change it.

Password: This password is the one you created for the Reolink device during the initial setup.

3. How to Recover Reolink device Password
As mentioned earlier, the password is created during the initial setup of the camera. Therefore, resetting the password will require you to reinitialize the camera. Below are two methods to reinitialize the camera and create a new password: restore and reset.
Method 1. Restore the password on Reolink software if you still have any device that can access this camera/NVR/Home Hub/IoT
This method is the simplest and most convenient, as it doesn't require removing the camera. You only need to click "restore" on a device that can access the camera/NVR/Home Hub/IoT (this will restore all configurations, so you'll need to reinitialize and create a new password, but recordings will not be lost).
Use cases: It's suitable for sharing the device with family or friends when you've forgotten the password, or if you can already preview the camera on one device and want to add it to another phone or computer.
Step-by-Step Instruction: How to Restore Reolink Products
Method 2. Hard reset the password by pressing the reset button if no devices can still access this camera/NVR/Home Hub/IoT
The reset button is located on the Reolink device body, so if your camera is installed, this method requires you to remove the camera.
Use cases: No other devices can access the Reolink device and you are unable to access it, then you will have to reset the Reolink device.
