In this article, we've prepared an easy-to-follow guide on how to reset Go PT Series and Ranger PT Series cameras. Depending on your camera’s model and hardware version, the reset method may vary. Please scroll down and follow the steps below.

Reset Using the Reset Hole

Applies to: Reolink Go PT, Reolink Go PT Plus / Go Series G430 (Hw. BIPC_560MIX4G16M25SD965MP), Reolink Go PT Ultra / Go Series G440 (Hw. BIPC_560MIX4G16M25SD938MP), Reolink KEEN Ranger PT, Reolink Go Ranger PT

Step 1. Power on the camera. Open the rubber cover on the back of camera. Turn ON the power switch button to power the camera. (If your camera is powered on, please skip this step.)

Reset Using the Reset Hole

Step 2. Rotate the camera lens, and open the rubber cover to find the reset hole (next to the micro SD card slot). And then insert the reset needle into the reset hole of your camera.

Step 3. Press the reset hole and hold for about 5-10 seconds until you hear a kind of tone sound/short music from this camera, then release the reset button.

Step 4. Press back all the rubber covers firmly.

Done! You've successfully factory reset your camera. Also, here is a video for your reference:

Reset Using the Power Button

Applies to: Reolink Go PT S Lite, Reolink Go PT Ultra / Go Series G440 (Hw. BIPC_NT2BCNO28MPC1SD15V6/BIPC_NT2BCNO28MPC7SD15V12), Reolink Go PT Plus / Go Series G430 (Hw. BIPC_NT2BCNO25MPC1SD15V14/BIPC_NT2BCNO25MPC7SD15V11)

The Power Button and Reset Button are the same physically, but they achieve different effects through different pressing methods. The reset button is usually located on the camera body or the pigtail cable. Carefully check your camera to find its exact position.

Step 1. Power on the camera. Find the power/reset button on the camera body or pigtail cable, and press and hold it for 3 seconds to turn on the camera. (If your camera is powered on, please skip this step.)

Step 2. Reset the camera. Press the power/reset button three times in a row. Then you will hear a kind of tone sound/short music from this camera.

Step 3. Put the cover / waterproof cap back on firmly for your camera.

Done! You've successfully factory reset your camera.

Initial Setup

After resetting your camera, it will return to its factory default settings, and it needs to be set up again in the Reolink App. Make sure the camera is powered on and follow the in-app setup instructions to complete the configuration, referring to How to Initially Set up Reolink 4G Cameras via Reolink App.

Note: Resetting the Go PT S Lite camera will unbind it from the Reolink account. Refresh the Account Devices Home page in the Reolink App, and you will see that the camera has been removed. Refer to How to Initially Set up Reolik Go PT S Lite Camera to finish the initial setup process.
