The Auto Sweep feature allows supported Reolink cameras to automatically rotate 360° with a single tap, making it easy to quickly inspect the surrounding area without manually controlling the camera. This article introduces the Auto Sweep feature, supported models, and how to use it.
What Is Auto Sweep on Reolink Cameras
Auto Sweep is a PTZ feature that enables the camera to automatically perform one complete 360° horizontal rotation.
After Auto Sweep is activated, the PT lower cam rotates through a full circle to survey the surrounding environment and automatically stops when the sweep is complete. This allows you to quickly check the entire monitoring area without manually panning the camera.
Auto Sweep is ideal when you need to:
- Quickly inspect the surrounding environment.
- Check multiple monitoring directions with a single operation.
- Obtain a fast overview of a wide monitoring area.
Note: Tap Auto Sweep only once to start the feature. Once the sweep begins, wait for it to finish before tapping the button again. If you tap Auto Sweep a second time before the sweep completes, the current sweep will be canceled, and the camera will return to its original monitor point.
