The UID (Unique ID) is a 16-character alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies your Reolink device. Reolink UID codes typically begin with “9527” and consist of a combination of numbers and uppercase letters (e.g., 9527XXXXXXXXXXXX). Below, we will introduce several ways to locate the UID of your Reolink device.
Applies to: All Reolink devices (excluding cameras in NVR security kits and add-on cameras).
Please note: Cameras in NVR kits and add-on cameras do not have UID.

Method 1. On the Reolink Camera
All Reolink cameras, excluding cameras in NVR security kits and add-on cameras, have a label with a QR code attached to their body. The UID number is printed directly below this QR code. This label usually contains other key product information, such as the model, power requirements, and S/N numbers.
In some cases, the UID may appear on a separate sticker, dedicated only to the QR code and UID number. Please check all labels on the back, bottom, or side of your device carefully to locate this information.

Method 2. Via the Reolink App
Step 1. Log in to your camera on the Reolink App on your cellphone and tap the gear icon on the right to go to the Settings page of the camera.
Step 2. Tap Device Info (the camera picture on the top), and you will see the Device Info of the camera, including the UID of the camera.

Method 3. Via the Reolink Client
1. Checking System Information Under Settings
Go to Settings > Device > Info page, and you can find the UID of your Reolink camera.
2. Checking System Information by Right Click
Right-click the camera on the Device list on the left, and click Get Info. You will see the UID of your device.

Method 4. Via the Reolink Web Browser
Applies to: The Reolink cameras that can be accessed via web browsers
Step 1. Log in to your Reolink camera by entering the camera's IP address in the browser's address bar. Click the gear icon on the top right of the page to go to the device settings page.
Step 2. Go to Device > Info, and you can find the UID of your camera.
2. Find the UID for Reolink NVR and Camera Added to the NVR
For Reolink NVRs

Method 1. On the Reolink NVR
All Reolink NVRs have a label with a QR code attached to the top of the NVR. The UID number is printed directly below this QR code. This label usually contains other key product information, such as the model and power requirements.

Method 2. Via the Reolink App
Step 1. Log in to your NVR on the Reolink App on your cellphone and tap the gear icon on the right to go to the Settings page of the NVR.
Step 2. Tap Device Info (the NVR picture on the top), and you will see the Device Info, including the UID of the NVR.

Method 3. Via the Reolink Client
1. Checking System Information Under Settings
Go to Settings > Device > Info page, and you can find the UID of your Reolink NVR.
2. Checking System Information by Right Click
Right-click the NVR on the Device list on the left, and click Get Info. You will see the UID of your NVR.

1. Find the UID on the System information page
Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N2MB02/N3MB01/N7MB01), RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N6MB01), RLN36 and RLN12W.
Right-click on the live view page and click the gear icon on the settings bar. Go to System > Info page, and you can find the UID of your NVR.
2. Find the UID on the Home page
Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version N7MB01) and RLN16-410 (hardware version N6MB01) with firmware v3.6 and later.
Right-click on the live view page. Click on the Settings(gear) icon and then click the Home section on the left, and the NVR's system information will appear, where you can find the UID of the NVR.
For Cameras Added to the Reolink NVR

Method 1. On the Reolink Camera
All Reolink cameras, excluding cameras in NVR security kits and add-on cameras, have a label with a QR code attached to their body. The UID number is printed directly below this QR code. Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version N7MB01) and RLN16-410 (hardware version N6MB01) with firmware v3.6 and later.
Step 1. Click the Add Camera icon in the live view page.
Step 2. The UIDs of the cameras you have added and the camera on the same LAN as the NVR will show on this page.
3. Find the UID for Reolink Home Hub Series and the Camera Added to the Hub
For Reolink Home Hub Series

All Reolink Wi-Fi extenders have a label with a QR code attached to the device body. The UID number is printed directly below this QR code.

1. If the Wi-Fi Extender is paired with the Reolink Home Hub for Mesh Network
Step 1. Log in to your Reolink Home Hub on the Reolink App on your cellphone and go to the Settings page of the hub. Find the Wi-Fi extender in the "Others" section of the hub. Then tap the extender to check the details.
Step 2. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner to go to the Settings page of the extender and you will find the UID.
2. If the Wi-Fi Extender is set up as an IoT device
Step 1. Tap the IoT section on the Reolink App, then tap the Wi-Fi extender.
Step 2. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner to go to the Settings page of the extender and you will find the UID.
5. Find the UID for Reolink Floodlight Wi-Fi/PoE

Method 1. On the Reolink Floodlight Wi-Fi/PoE
All Reolink floodlight devices have a label with a QR code attached to the device body. The UID number is printed directly below this QR code.

Method 2. Via the Reolink App
Step 1. Find and tap your Reolink Floodlight Wi-Fi/PoE on your cellphone in the IoT section of the Reolink App.
Step 2. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner to go to the Settings page of the floodlight.
Step 3. Then tap the Device Info (the floodlight picture on the top), and you will see the Device Info, including the UID of the floodlight.
