The UID (Unique ID) is a 16-character alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies your Reolink device. Reolink UID codes typically begin with “9527” and consist of a combination of numbers and uppercase letters (e.g., 9527XXXXXXXXXXXX). Below, we will introduce several ways to locate the UID of your Reolink device.

Applies to: All Reolink devices (excluding cameras in NVR security kits and add-on cameras).

Note: Cameras in NVR kits and add-on cameras do not have UID.

1. Find the UID for Reolink Standalone Camera (Use independently)

  • Method 1. On the Reolink Camera

    All Reolink cameras, excluding cameras in NVR security kits and add-on cameras, have a label with a QR code attached to their body. The UID number is printed directly below this QR code. This label usually contains other key product information, such as the model, power requirements, and S/N numbers.

    In some cases, the UID may appear on a separate sticker, dedicated only to the QR code and UID number. Please check all labels on the back, bottom, or side of your device carefully to locate this information.

  • Method 2. Via the Reolink App

    Log in to your camera on the Reolink App on your cellphone. Tap the gear.png icon > Device Info, and you will see the Device Info of the camera, including the UID of the camera.

  • Method 3. Via the Reolink Client

    1. Checking System Information Under Settings

    Go to Settings > Device > Info page, and you can find the UID of your Reolink camera.

    2. Checking System Information by Right Click

    Right-click the camera on the Device list on the left, and click Get Info. You will see the UID of your device.

  • Method 4. Via the Reolink Web Broswer

    Applies to: All Reolink cameras except battery-powered cameras, Reolink E1, Reolink E1 Pro, and Reolink Lumus, and the add-on cameras in the NVR Kit. For details of the models that can be accessed via web browsers, refer to Which Reolink Devices Can Be Accessed via Web Browsers.

    Log in to your Reolink camera by entering the camera's IP address in the browser's address bar. Click the gear icon on the top right of the page to go to the device settings page. Go to Device > Info, and you can find the UID of your camera.

2. Find the UID for Reolink NVR and Camera Added to the NVR

For Reolink NVRs

  • Method 1. On the Reolink NVR

    All Reolink NVRs have a label with a QR code attached to the top of the NVR. The UID number is printed directly below this QR code. This label usually contains other key product information, such as the model and power requirements.

  • Method 2. Via the Reolink App

    Log in to your NVR on the Reolink App on your cellphone. Tap NVR >  gear.png icon > Device Info, and you will see the Device Info of the NVR, including the UID of the NVR.

  • Method 3. Via the Reolink Client

    1. Checking System Information Under Settings

    Go to Settings > System > Info page, and you can find the UID of your Reolink NVR.

    2. Checking System Information by Right-Click

    Right-click the NVR on the Device list on the left, and click Get Info. You will see the UID of your NVR.

  • Method 4. Via the Reolink Web Browser

    Step 1. Log in to your NVR by entering the NVR's IP address in the browser's address bar.

    Click the gear icon on the top right of the page to go to the device settings page.

    Step 2. Go to System > Info, and you can find the UID of your NVR.

  • Method 5. Via the Reolink NVR (New UI)

    Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version NVR_NNT3NA78P / N7MB01 / N3MB01 / N2MB02 / H3MB18), RLN16-410 (hardware version NVR_NNT4NA716P / N6MB01 / H3MB18), RLN4E, RLN36, RLN12W, NVS4E, NVS8, NVS12W, NVS16, NVS36, RP-PN8, RP-PN16, RP-N64.

    1. Find the UID on the System information page

    Right-click on the live view page and click the gear icon on the settings bar. Go to System > Info page, and you can find the UID of your NVR.

    2. Find the UID on the Home page

    Right-click on the live view page and click the gear icon on the settings bar. Click the Home section on the left, and the NVR's system information will appear, where you can find the UID of the NVR.

  • Method 6. Via the Reolink NVR (Old UI)

    Applies to: RLN4-410, RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB02/H3MB16), and RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB02/H3MB06).

    1. Find the UID on the System information page

    Step 1. Log in to the Reolink PoE NVR on a monitor, then click on the Menu Button button to enter the menu page of the NVR.

    Step 2. Click on the System > System Information button, and then you can find the Model, Hw No., and Fw Version on this page.

For Cameras Added to the Reolink NVR

  • Method 1. On the Reolink Camera

    All Reolink cameras, excluding cameras in NVR security kits and add-on cameras, have a label with a QR code attached to their body. The UID number is printed directly below this QR code. This label usually contains other key product information, such as the model, power requirements, and S/N numbers.

  • Method 2. Via the Reolink App

    Log in to your NVR and camera on the Reolink App on your cellphone. Tap the gear.png icon next to the camera > Device Info, and you will see the Device Info of the camera, including its UID.

  • Method 3. Via the Reolink NVR (New UI)

    Applies to: NVR with firmware v3.6 and later. Check it in the system information or refer to Reolink Firmware Update Guide to upgrade to the latest firmware version.

    Step 1. Click the Add Camera icon on the live view page.

3. Find the UID for Reolink Home Hub Series and the Camera Added to the Hub

For Reolink Home Hub Series

  • Method 1. On the Reolink Home Hub Device

    All Reolink Home Hub devices have a label with a QR code attached to their body. The UID number is printed directly below this QR code. This label usually contains other key product information, such as the model, power requirements, and S/N numbers.

     Log in to your Reolink Home Hub on the Reolink App on your cellphone. Tap Home Hub >  gear.png icon > Device Info, and you will see the Device Info of the Home Hub, including its UID.

  • Method 1. On the Body of Your Reolink Camera

  • Method 2. Via the Reolink App

    Log in to your Home Hub and camera on the Reolink App on your cellphone. Tap the gear.png icon next to the camera > Device Info, and you will see the Device Info of the camera, including its UID.

    Step 1. Click the disclosure triangle under the hub to find the gear icon of the camera that is added to the hub.

    Step 2. Go to Device > Info page, and you can find the UID of your camera.

    Step 2. Right-click the camera on the Device list, and click Get Info. You will see the UID of your camera.

4. Find the UID for Reolink Wi-Fi Extender RLA-WE1

  • Method 1. On the Reolink Wi-Fi Extender RLA-WE1

    All Reolink Wi-Fi extenders have a label with a QR code attached to the device body. The UID number is printed directly below this QR code.

  • Method 2. Via the Reolink App

    Note: The UID is not available on the App if the Reolink Wi-Fi Extender RLA-WE1 is paired with Reolink RLN12W for the mesh network. You may want to know: How to Set up Reolink Wi-Fi Extender RLA-WE1

    1. If the Wi-Fi Extender is paired with the Reolink Home Hub for Mesh Network

    Step 1. Log in to your Reolink Home Hub on the Reolink App on your cellphone and go to the Settings page of the hub. Find the Wi-Fi extender in the "Device" section of the hub. Then tap the extender to check the details.

    2. If the Wi-Fi Extender is set up as an IoT device

    Step 1. Open the Reolink App and find your Wi-Fi extender in the device list on the home page.

    Step 2. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner to go to the Settings page of the extender and you will find the UID.

5. Find the UID for Reolink Floodlight Wi-Fi/PoE

  • Method 1. On the Reolink Floodlight Wi-Fi/PoE

    All Reolink floodlight devices have a label with a QR code attached to the device body. The UID number is printed directly below this QR code.

  • Method 2. Via the Reolink App

    Tap the gear.png icon > gear.png icon > Device Info, and you will see the Device Info of the floodlight, including its UID.
