Applies to: All Reolink Cameras and NVRs
When your cameras or NVRs are on the same LAN as your PC, you may add them via Reolink Client easily referring to the following methods.
Method 1. Automatically Add
- If your new client enabled the " Add Device Automatically" setting under the local setting of the client, refer to How to Enable/Disable "Add Device Automatically" via Reolink New Client, and the camera with the default factory password( blank password), it will automatically show up on the client list and you can directly live view this camera.
- If your new client enabled the " Add Device Automatically" setting under the local setting of the client, and you had set a password for it via other devices, it will also automatically show up on the client list, but it will also show an " Incorrect Password" error.
Please follow the image below to enter the camera's password, you will able to see the live stream.
Method 2. Scan Device in LAN
Choose Add Device -> Scan Device in LAN to scan your Reolink device(s).
The cameras in the same local network will automatically show up, click the"+" button to add it.
If it is an "Incorrect Password " error, please click the left " edit" button to enter the camera's password, you will able to see the live stream.
Method 3. Manually add via IP/Domain
If you know your camera's IP address, please follow the steps below to add this camera and enter the password of your camera, you will able to see live stream
Method 4. Manually add via UID
Usually, in the same local network, it's suggested to add the device to the client via the above three methods, but for the battery-powered cameras, even connecting the same local network, please add to the client via UID rather than IP address.
Refer to how to find the camera's UID
Please click"+" button> UID> enter your camera's UID> Add> enter your camera's password.
Then you will able to see a live stream via the pc client.
