Please make sure there are no obstacles around the camera.
Note: the PT cameras are typically installed upside down.
2. Try to rotate the camera with hands.
If the manual rotate works, please continue with the following steps and see if they can help.
3. Verify power supply. (mainly applicable for plug-in camera models)
Ensure that the camera is receiving enough power. PT motors require more power than stationary cameras, so double-check if your power supply meets the camera's requirements.
- Turn off the IR lights or spotlights before attempting to pan or tilt the camera.
- If you're using a power extension cord or a network cable longer than 100 meters, try removing the extension or testing with a shorter cable instead.
4. Calibrate the camera. (applicable to models that support calibration feature only)
