Symptoms for Reolink PoE camera not showing on the NVR. 

After plugging the cameras into the NVR, the Reolink camera not showing on the NVR monitor, or Reolink NVR not detecting the camera and it prompts "video loss", "connection failed", and "incorrect username or password". The following troubleshooting may be helpful to you.

Troubleshooting Steps for the PoE camera not showing on the NVR.

1. Check the camera.

If the Reolink camera not showing on NVR, check whether the camera can be powered on normally.

Cover the daylight sensor, or place the camera in a dark environment. After a few seconds, if the IR LED turn on, or some sounds can be heard, it means the camera is powered on.

2. Check the NVR.

Verify camera and NVR Compatibility.

  • If your NVR version can support your camera but NVR not detecting the camera, please go to the Reolink Website to download the firmware. Then refer to this article to upgrade the firmware for your NVR.

  • If your NVR version cannot support your camera, you can consider changing to a compatible camera or using the camera as a stand-alone camera.

3. Check the connection between the camera and the NVR. 

1. Test the network cable and NVR port. 

Please change another working network cable and try another working NVR port to power the camera.

2. Verify the remaining channels and ports.

You can add at most 8 cameras to RLN8-410, 16 cameras to RLN14-410, and add at most 36 cameras to RLN36. Some Duo cameras may take two channels. You can refer to this article for detailed information. Which NVR Can Work with Reolink Duo Series Cameras

3. For a configured camera, please confirm that the IPC is not locked by login and make sure the camera has a unique IP address.

4. For a configured camera, please make sure the camera's username is "admin" and you use the correct camera's password. 

5. Check connection. 

For PoE camera that are not directly connected to the NVR, connect it to the NVR directly for a try.
