Applies to: All IPC except the battery-powered cameras and E1, E Series E320, E1 pro, Reolink Lumus
Description of the phenomenon: FTP cannot upload files; the test is succeeded, but there are still no files.
Cause 1: FTP settings are incorrect.
Solution: Check the FTP upload schedule, make sure that the schedule setting is correct, and is enabled.
Cause 2: Poor network.
Solutions:
- Upload the pictures or sub-stream video to check if the problem is caused by poor network;
- Test it with LAN FTP
Cause 3: software bug.
Solution: check the firmware to make sure the firmware is up to date.
Cause 4: Home Hub scene mode.
For Reolink Home Hub users: If the camera is connected to a Home Hub series, check whether you have enabled a Scene Mode that disables the FTP function. If FTP is turned off in the selected mode, the camera will not upload files to the FTP server.
