Are you having trouble with the Reolink camera sound not working? Does your security camera have no audio? This article provides troubleshooting tips to help you resolve these issues.
Please kindly note that NVR only has audio output when it connects monitor via HDMI port, the resolution of the monitor/TV should be 1920*1080 or 1080*720, or the NVR will not have a sound output if the monitor/TV has other resolution used.

Reolink Cameras Sound Not Working
The Reolink security camera no audio when you preview the camera's live view page. Before doing troubleshooting, please check the following points first:
1. Confirm that the problem exists on at least two access terminals such as Reolink APP/Reolink Client/Reolink NVR. Note: make sure the phone/computer can play other multimedia sounds properly.
2. Ensure both the "Record Audio" option and the speaker on the preview page are turned on.

Reolink App
Please kindly check whether you switch on the speaker like the picture below.
And please go to camera's settings, kindly enable the Record Audio option like the picture below.

Reolink Client
Please kindly make sure the speaker like the picture below is enabled.
And please check whether you have enabled the Record Audio option.

Reolink NVR (new UI)
Step 1. Go to Camera on the left side menu to choose the channels for the cameras, choose Audio and Light, please make sure Record Audio is enabled as well as the picture below.
Step 2. Go to the live view page to enable Audio.

Reolink NVR (Old UI)
Step 1. Go to Menu > Display > Output, make sure the audio output of the NVR is enabled like the picture below. Please check the Audio box in the picture.Step 2. Please click on Recording on the left side menu to choose the channels for the cameras. Please make sure the Record Audio box is checked as well as the picture below.If the audio icon appears on the live view screen after operating as above, that means you've enabled audio successfully.
Troubleshooting for Reolink Cameras No Audio
1. Make sure the mic hole is not blocked by anything and do not use Bluetooth headset.
2. Try to restore/reset the camera. How to Reset Reolink Devices
3. Make sure the firmware version of your camera is the latest. How to Manually Update firmware for Reolink Device Note: this point doesn't apply to battery-powered cameras.
