Troubleshooting for Reolink Device Not Notifying Smart Home
Confirmation of support:
-
The Alexa App and Google Home App do not support receiving push notifications. Only screen devices like Echo Show and Google Home Hub can receive them.
-
Currently, only doorbell cameras and the Home Hub series support sending push notifications to smart home devices.
After confirming that your device is supported, if the Reolink camera still cannot send push notifications to your smart home device, please check the following relevant settings:
-
Enable it in the Smart Home: Please confirm that the camera is enabled on the Smart Home page within the Reolink App.
- Same account for both the Reolink App and Smart Home App: Please ensure that you are using the same Reolink account for both the Reolink App and the Smart Home App. This is important because having a consistent account across both apps helps synchronize your device settings and notifications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of your Reolink devices within your smart home system.
