Symptoms for Limitation of Camera Pan and Tilt
When you perform the PT function on the app and client, the PT angle becomes smaller, and the camera's ability to pan or tilt is reduced, leading to a narrower field of view. The camera may no longer reach its full range of motion, limiting coverage. This issue can affect overall surveillance performance by restricting monitored areas.
Troubleshooting for the Smaller PT Angle
- No obstruction: Please make sure that the camera is installed free of obstacles. As PT cameras are usually mounted upside down, please check if the PT structure may have become loose or unusual due to a prolonged inverted position.
- Manually rotate: Please check whether you can turn the camera manually. If this is not possible, it could actually indicate a mechanical defect.
