The camera does not switch to black and white mode and the IR lights do not turn on when it gets dark, but it will do after when it gets darker. 

Troubleshooting Steps for Reolink Delay in Switching between Day and Night

1. Please install the camera where there is no direct exposure to strong light or reflective objects. Please avoid placing the camera indoors directly facing a well-lit doorway, near a smooth wall, or in front of mirrors, bright lamps, or glossy, reflective ceilings or floors.

2. If the camera has the black & white and color switching threshold, please adjust the threshold to 0 or 50 to see if it helps. Refer to: Introduction to Black&White and Color Switching Threshold
