Applies to: Reolink battery-powered cameras
If you fail to receive any push notification from your cameras when a motion is detected by the PIR sensor, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.
There are several possible causes for the problem:
Cause 1. The Push Notification has been disabled.
Solution: Log into the camera on Reolink App. Go to Device Settings and enable Push.
Cause 2. The PIR sensor is disabled or the alarm schedule is incorrect.
Solution: Log into the camera on Reolink App. Go to Device Settings and enable PIR Sensor. Then go to PIR Settings -> Schedule to schedule the alarm according to your personal needs and click Save to save the change.
Cause 3. Your phone has no access to the Internet.
Solution: Check the Internet connection of your: Try to access Google or other outside network to confirm whether your phone could access the Internet.
Cause 4. Your camera is not connected to the Internet.
Solution: Please connect your phone to the 4G or the outside WiFi, then check if you can connect the camera successfully via Reolink App. If yes, it means that the camera is connected to Internet properly. Otherwise, it means that the camera doesn't have well Internet connection.
And also you may connect your phone to the wifi of the same router as the camera to confirm whether the network which the camera is connected could have Internet connection.
Cause 5. Your phone has banned Reolink App to display notifications.
Solution: Go to the System Settings of your phone and allow it to push notifications.
Cause 6. Your phone is not working properly.
Solution: Try another phone. Install Reolink App on the phone and log in to the camera. See whether this phone can receive push notifications.
