If you fail to receive any push notification from your cameras when a motion is detected by PIR sensor, please follow the steps below for a simple troubleshoot.
There are several possible causes for the problem:
Cause 1. The Push Notification has been disabled.
Solution: Log into the camera on Reolink App. Go to Device Settings and enable Push.
Cause 2. The PIR sensor is disabled or the alarm schedule is incorrect.
Solution: Log into the camera on Reolink App. Go to Device Settings and enable PIR Sensor. Then go to PIR Settings >> Schedule to schedule the alarm according to your personal needs and click Save to save the change.
Cause 3. Your phone has no access to the internet.
Solution: Check the internet connection of your phone and try again.
Cause 4. Your camera is not connected to the internet.
Solution: If the LED indicator under the camera lens is solid blue or flickering blue, it means that your device is connected to the internet. If it’s solid red or flickering red, it means that your device has disconnected from the internet. Please try to reconnect your camera to the internet. You may reboot the router or try to place it closer to the router if necessary.
Cause 5. Your phone has banned Reolink App to display notifications.
Solution: Go to the System Settings of your phone and allow it to push notifications.
Cause 6. There's something wrong with your phone.
Solution: Try another phone. Install Reolink App on another phone and log in to the camera. See whether this phone can ever receive push notifications.
