Will your Reolink camera display the wrong time soon after synchronizing the camera time? Do you know how to change the time on the Reolink camera? This article provides troubleshooting tips to help you resolve these issues.

Reolink Time Wrong

After synchronizing the camera time, the Reolink camera will display the wrong time soon. Note: The wrong time means the time is not current but instead shows as 1970, 2019, or another incorrect time.

Troubleshooting for Reolink Time Wrong

1. Re-sync the time and ensure that the camera's time zone matches your local time zone: How to Set Date/Time for Reolink Products.

2. If the time is only one hour ahead or behind, it may be related to the Reolink DST (Daylight Saving Time). Please try adjusting the time zone/DST settings or manually synchronizing the time. How to Sync the Date and Time of Your Camera/NVR with Your Phone via Reolink App

3. Disconnect the internet connection (which between the router and the modem) and power off the Reolink camera for two minutes, then power it on again to check if camera's time is correct without Internet connection. Note: For battery-powered 4G cameras, you just need to power off for two minutes and then power on again. If the issue is resolved, it indicates that the problem was network-related. It is recommended to test with a different network to confirm.

4. Check whether you add the Reolink device to any third-party devices or software. If so, disconnect the Reolink device from it and check again. If the problem is solved, check if there are any time settings on the third-party software and adjust them for the test.

5. Hard reset the device: How to Hard Reset Device by Pressing the Reset Button
