Troubleshooting for Reolink Cameras Not Charging
-
Check the power supply.
-
Ensure the adapter used meets the requirements. Use a 5V1A or 5V2A adapter to charge the camera.
-
If using a solar panel, test with the adapter to determine if the issue is with the camera or the solar panel.
-
-
Verify cable connection. Ensure the charging cable has a secure connection to the camera. Try unplugging and reconnecting a few times.
-
Check ambient temperature. Ensure the environment temperature is above 0°C. The camera’s built-in lithium battery cannot charge properly when the temperature is below 0°C.
-
Test different adapters and cables. If possible, try using different adapters and charging cables to check if the camera functions correctly. Note: you can also try to use the original USB cable for the test.
-
Charging test. Note: this point only applies when the camera can be powered on and accessed.
-
Charge the camera to 50% or more before disconnecting the adapter and testing again.
- Turn off the PIR and reduce the live view frequency and time to see if the charging is normal.
