When using the Reolink App or Client to view camera feeds, you experience image lag or slower on-screen display (OSD) updates compared to real-time.

Applies to: All Reolink cameras. 

 

Cause 1. Network issue. 

Solutions: 

a. Switch to Fluent stream mode to see if the camera feed improves. 

b. Lower the bitrate and resolution of the camera. 

c. Connect your phone/PC to an alternate network.

d. Reduce the number of devices connected to your router to free up bandwidth.

Cause 2. Software issue.

Solution: Go to App & Client - Reolink to update the Reolink App/Client to the latest version.

Cause 3. Firmware issue.

Solution: 

Visit Download Center – Reolink to download the latest firmware and manually upgrade it following the instructions provided in How to Upgrade Firmware for Reolink Products.

Cause 4. Hardware issue.

Solutions:

a. Make sure the camera’s antenna, if present, is securely tightened. 

b. Restore or hard reset the camera for a try.
