How to Enable/Disable Siren Alarm for Reolink Cameras

A camera with a siren alarm can make a loud prolonged sound as a signal or warning when the camera detects motion alarms. Here we will guide you on how to enable/disable alarm for Reolink cameras via different platforms.

Note: For Reolink Video Doorbell (Battery), you can only trigger the siren alarm manually. 

• Via Reolink App

  For a standalone camera:

  Step 1. Launch Reolink App and log in to your camera.

  Enter the Live Page of your camera and tap icon  > Siren.

  

  Step 2. Tap the Siren button to enable/disable it.

  Blue means the Siren alarm has been enabled, while gray means disabled.

  

  For cameras connected to Reolink NVR/Reolink Home Hub:

  Step 1. Log in to your NVR/Home Hub via the Reolink App. Tap the icon next to the camera > Siren.

  

  Step 2. Enable (turn it blue)/disable (turn it gray) the Siren according to your needs.

  

  Note: You can set up a siren schedule so it will sound according to the schedule you set.

• Via Reolink Client

  For a standalone camera:

  Launch Reolink Client and log in to your camera. Click the Device Settings > Surveillance >Siren. Blue means the siren alarm has been enabled, while gray means disabled.

  

  For cameras connected to Reolink NVR/Reolink Home Hub:

  Go to NVR/Home Hub's Settings > Surveillance > Siren. Select the camera you want to enable/disable. Then you can enable (turn it blue)/disable (turn it gray) the Siren.

  

  Note: You can also set up a schedule for your siren to sound accordingly.

• Via Reolink Web browser

  Applies to: Reolink cameras except battery-powered cameras, B400, B500, B800, B1200, D400, D500, D800, D1200, E1, E1 Pro, Reolink Lumus.

  For a standalone camera:

  Step 1. Make sure your PC is connected to the same network as your camera.

  Step 2. Input the IP Address of your camera on a web browser and log in to your camera.

  Step 3. Click the Device Settings gear icon in the top right corner.

  

  Step 4. Go to Surveillance > Siren. Click the button below to enable/disable the siren alarm.

  Blue means enabled, while gray means disabled.

  

  For cameras connected to Reolink NVRs:

  Step 1. Click the Device Settings gear icon in the top right corner.

  

  Step 2. Click Surveillance > Siren. Choose the camera you want to enable/disable. Then you can enable (turn it blue)/disable (turn it gray) Siren.

  

  Note: You can also set up the siren schedule for your camera via a web browser too.

• Via Reolink NVR (new UI)

  Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version NVR_NNT3NA78P / N7MB01 / N3MB01 / N2MB02 / H3MB18), RLN16-410 (hardware version NVR_NNT4NA716P / N6MB01 / H3MB18), RLN4E, RLN36, RLN12W, NVS4E, NVS8, NVS12W, NVS16, NVS36, RP-PN8, RP-PN16, RP-N64.

  Step 1. Log in to your camera on the NVR monitor, and click the Settings gear icon.

  

  Step 2. Go to Surveillance > Siren. Then click the blue Daily Schedule.

  

  Step 3. Click the drop-down arrow to choose your camera.

  Click the button below to enable the siren alarm for your camera. Blue means the siren alarm has been enabled, while black means disabled.
