Push notifications allow you to stay informed in real time when motion is detected. To reduce frequent alerts, Reolink provides an option to set a push interval, which lets you control how often notifications are sent.
Below, you can learn how to set up the push interval via different Reolink software platforms.

Applies to: Reolink cameras and NVRs (battery-powered cameras, PoE/Wi-Fi cameras without smart detection are excluded).

What is Push Interval

The push interval determines how often you will receive push notifications during continuous alarm triggers. Once an alarm is triggered, you will receive only one push notification within the set interval, even if motion continues to be detected.

  • The minimum interval is 30 seconds, and the maximum is 120 seconds.
  • Example: If a person is detected continuously for 1 minute, and the push interval is set to 30 seconds, the system will send one notification at the start and another only after 30 seconds.

This feature helps reduce notifications for the same event, especially in high-traffic areas, while still keeping you informed of important events.

Note:

1. Please make sure that the Reolink App has permission for notifications in your phone’s system settings before setting the push schedule.

2. Please make sure you set up a push schedule for your camera so it will send push notifications accordingly.
