To manage push notifications for cameras connected to your NVR, it's essential to know how to enable or disable these alerts across different Reolink platforms. This article provides step-by-step instructions based on the platform you're using.
Reolink NVRs that support smart detection (New UI)
Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version NVR_NNT3NA78P / N7MB01 / N3MB01 / N2MB02 / H3MB18), RLN16-410 (hardware version NVR_NNT4NA716P / N6MB01 / H3MB18), RLN4E, NVS4E, RLN36, NVS36, RLN12W, NVS12W, NVS4E, NVS8, NVS12W, NVS16, NVS36, RP-PN8, RP-PN16, RP-N64.

Via Reolink App
Before setting up, upgrade the Reolink App to the latest version and the device to the latest firmware version.
Step 1. Log in to your device on the Reolink App, and then tap NVR >
icon >Push Notification.
Step 2. Enable Push Notification toggle by turning it blue for the NVR. Once it turns grey, you will no longer receive push notifications from any of the cameras connected to the NVR.
Step 3. Select a specific camera that you want to receive push notifications from and enable Push Notification for this camera. Then tap Schedule to setup push schedule for this camera.
Step 4. Tap Detection Type to select the detection types you want to enable. Tap Save to apply the settings.
Step 5. Tap the
icon to edit the times by swiping the schedule grid. If you want to remove a scheduled period, tap
icon and then swipe the schedule grids. Blue grids indicate the periods when push is enabled. White grids indicate push is disabled for the selected time period.
Step 6. (Optional) Tap Enable All to fill the entire schedule with the selected push. This means the camera will push all the time. Alternatively, tap Disable All to remove all scheduled push and prevent the camera from pushing.
Step 7. Tap Save to apply the settings. You can save this schedule to the chosen camera, or save and sync it to other devices. If you tap Save and Sync to Other Devices, select other cameras and then tap Save.

Via Reolink Client

Before setting up, upgrade the Reolink Client to the latest version and the device to the latest firmware version.
Step 1. Launch the Reolink Client and log in to your NVR. Click
to expand the camera, and then click the
icon for the camera you want to configure.
Step 2. Go to the Surveillance > Push page. Then enable the NVR Push Notification first. The Schedule page will display after enabling. Click Schedule to set up.
Step 3. Enable Push Notification for this camera.
(Optional) If you want to set the push schedule for another camera connected to the NVR, just click the drop-down arrow next to the camera name.Step 4. Choose one or more Detection Types, such as Person, Vehicle, Animal, or Any Motion you want.
Note: The detection type will vary across different models of your camera.Step 5. Select Enable/Disable and click and drag across the timetable to select the push period (One grid is for an hour). Blue grids indicate periods when push is enabled. Gray grids indicate periods when push is disabled.
Step 6. (Optional) Click Enable All to fill the entire schedule with the selected push. This means the camera will push all the time. Alternatively, click Disable All to remove all scheduled push and prevent the camera from pushing.

Via Web browser
Step 1. Log in to your NVR via a web browser. Then click the
icon on the top right corner.
Step 2. Click Surveillance> Push. Click and turn the Push Notifications toggle blue to enable the push notifications for your Reolink NVR.
Step 3. Click the drop-down arrow next to the camera channel and camera name to select and configure a different camera connected to the NVR. Click the Schedule toggle to enable/disable the push notifications feature for the camera.
Step 4. Choose one or more Detection Types, such as Person, Vehicle, Animal, or Any Motion you want.

Step 1. Connect your Reolink NVR to a monitor via HDMI/VGA.
Step 2. Right-click on the screen, then click the
icon > Surveillance. Click and turn the Push Notifications toggle blue to enable push notifications for your Reolink NVR. Once it turns grey, you will no longer receive push notifications from any of the cameras connected to the NVR.
Step 3. Choose the channel you want to set up and then enable the push notification for this camera.
Step 4. Choose one or more Detection Types, such as Person, Vehicle, Animal, or Any Motion you want.Step 5. Click and drag on the grid (one stands for an hour) to enable/disable alarm recording at that hour. Blue indicates enabled, while grey indicates disabled.Step 6. (Optional) Click Apply to Other Cameras and then select other cameras to share the same push schedule. Then click Save.
Step 7. Click Save if you finish setting up.
Reolink NVRs that do not support smart detection (Old UI)
Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB02), RLN8-410-E (hardware version H3MB16), RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB02/H3MB06), RLN4-410, RLN4-211W and RLN4-210W.

Via Reolink App

These NVRs do not currently support setting push notifications on the client side. Set it up via Reolink App, Web Browser, or NVR monitor.

Via Reolink Web Browser
Step 1. Input the IP Address of your NVR on a web browser and log in to your NVR. Then click the
icon on the top right corner.
Step 2. Click the
icon > Alarm > Motion > Action. On this page, select the channel/camera you want to set up. Check Enable and enable Push Notification. Then click OK.

Via Reolink NVR (Old UI)
Step 1. Log in to Reolink PoE NVR on a monitor. Go to Menu > Alarm.
Step 2. Select the channel/camera you want to set up. Check Enable, and then click Set for Action. Click Push to enable > Apply.
