The Pinpoint feature makes controlling the cameras faster and more intuitive by allowing users to quickly move the camera view to a specific area with a simple tap or click. This guide will introduce the pinpoint feature, compatibility, and how to use it.

What is the Pinpoint on Reolink Cameras

Pinpoint is a smart positioning feature that allows users to quickly locate a specific area within the wide-angle view. Pinpoint works by linking the wide-angle view with the pan-tilt feature. By simply tapping or clicking on a desired spot in the wide-angle view on the software, the pan-tilt camera will automatically move to that position for precise monitoring, without the need for manual PT control adjustments. The core advantage of the Pinpoint function is its simplicity and accuracy.
