Symptoms of Network Connection Failure on Reolink 4G Camera
After installing the SIM card, the camera announces "Network connection failed." Similarly, the camera might become inaccessible after some time of operation, and even after resetting, it can again prompt "Network connection failed".
In cases where the camera does not have a voice prompt or the voice prompt is not 'Network connection failed', please refer to the corresponding voice prompt to do further troubleshooting suggestions: Introduction to the Voice Prompt of Reolink 4G Cameras.
Note: Reolink 4G cameras do not connect to Wi-Fi networks/router. They are designed to connect solely to 4G mobile networks with a SIM card. If you failed to connect a Reolink Wi-Fi camera, please refer to Reolink Connection to Router Failed.

Match Your Camera Version to Its Installation Region
Reolink 4G cameras are available in three hardware versions: US, EU(X), and AU. Each version is designed to support a specific region. Check Camera Antenna
Ensure the camera antenna is securely attached (skip it if there's no antenna). -
Verify SIM Card Compatibility & Activation
First, check if your SIM card's carrier and plan are supported.- Reolink SIM Card: Make sure your camera supports the Reolink SIM card and can be used in the location where the camera is installed. - Non-Reolink SIM Card: Ensure that the SIM card you are using is supported in the location where the camera is installed. Refer to, How to Choose SIM Card for Reolink 4G Cameras.
Then, make sure the SIM card used in the camera is fully activated and has an active data plan.

Use a Different SIM Card
If you have another supported SIM card, insert it into the camera and check whether the connection improves. This can help identify whether the current SIM card or network is affecting the connection. If the camera connects successfully with a different SIM card, it is recommended to contact your original carrier for further assistance or consider continuing to use this replacement card.
