Reolink Home Hub compatibility is a key aspect of the system, offering centralized storage and device management that enhance security and provide insightful monitoring. This article explains which cameras and products are compatible with the Home Hub series.

Model Compatibility Overview

Compatibility varies by Reolink product type. The sections below provide detailed compatibility information, including supported models and any applicable requirements. Select your product type below to view the corresponding compatibility information and requirements.

  • Reolink Plug-in Wi-Fi Cameras + PoE Cameras Compatibility

    All Plug-in Wi-Fi and PoE cameras with a UID starting with 9527 are compatible with the Reolink Home Hub Series, including all models Currently Available for Sale through the Reolink official website, except the following:

    • Reolink Lumus (hardware version IPC_325C7)
    • Reolink E1 Zoom (hardware version IPC_515SD6)
    • Add-on camera (without UID)
    • Refurbished models (as the shipped hardware version cannot be guaranteed.)

  • Battery-Powered Cameras Compatibility

    Most battery-powered Wi-Fi cameras support the Home Hub Series, including both the models listed in the table below and those currently available for sale. However, 4G cameras are Not Supported. Ensure your model is listed as compatible and has the necessary firmware updates installed. Refer to the compatibility chart below for more details.     Note: 'Released, upgradable' refers to devices for which Home Hub compatibility firmware has been released. Upgrade the camera to the latest firmware before adding it to the Home Hub Series. And then you could manage the camera on Home Hub Series. Refer to How to Upgrade the Battery-powered Cameras for firmware upgrade instructions.

  • Reolink Chime

    Reolink Chime V2 and Chime Plus are Factory-Supported with Home Hub Series, but Reolink Chime V1 is Not supported. If you want to add Reolink Chime to the Home Hub Series, refer to Introduction to Smart Linking on Reolink Home Hub Series.

Maximum Supported Cameras

At the default bitrate, the maximum number of cameras that can be connected varies by Home Hub model. See the table below for details.

With default camera bitrates, it supports simultaneous recording from up to 12 single-lens 8MP PoE/ WiFi plug-in cameras and up to 24 battery-powered cameras at any resolution.
Home Hub Mini 8 8 8 The total number of connected cameras cannot exceed 8, regardless of camera type. Supports up to 12MP cameras.
