Smart Linking is a feature available on the Reolink Home Hub that gives you greater flexibility in managing your Reolink camera system. By linking your cameras together, Smart Linking helps create a more integrated and efficient security experience, making it easier to automate and coordinate your home surveillance setup.

Applies to: Reolink Home Hub Pro, Hub P1 and Reolink Home Hub, Hub 1

What is Smart Linking

Smart Linking provides a new way to enhance the cameras connected to the Reolink Home Hub by enabling automation. It works as follows: when Device A meets a specific condition, Device B will automatically perform a predefined action. For example, you can set up a rule so that when Camera A detects a person, Camera B starts recording, or when Camera A detects motion, Camera B triggers the siren. This feature gives you more flexibility to customize your security system, offering a more convenient and personalized experience.

In addition, for users of Reolink Video Doorbells and Chimes, you can also link doorbells with the Chime.

Note: Camera-to-camera linking is currently supported only on the Reolink Home Hub Pro and Hub P1.
