What is TrackMix LTE Plus Series?

The Reolink TrackMix LTE Plus Series includes two models: Reolink TrackMix LTE Plus and Reolink TrackMix LTE Plus 2. Designed for outdoor security in areas without Wi-Fi, these cameras use 4G connectivity and dual-lens technology to deliver wide coverage and intelligent tracking. While both models share core features, they may differ in design, power options, and installation.

Both models feature a dual-lens design, combining a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens for both panoramic and close-up views.

Installation and Charging

The installation and charging methods may vary between the two models. Select the appropriate instruction based on your specific camera model.

Key Features Overview

  • 24/7 Recording with large battery & solar panel

    They are equipped with battery packs and compatible solar panels, although their capacity and power may differ. These power solutions are designed to ensure continuous recording. 

    At the default Low Frame Rate of 3fps, the estimated battery run time on a full charge varies between different models:

    • Reolink TrackMix LTE Plus 2: It offers up to 21 days of continuous recording on a full charge. During 24/7 recording, this model records only with the wide-angle lens by default. The tracking lens records only when tracking is triggered or during live preview.
    • Reolink TrackMix LTE Plus: It offers up to 48 hours of continuous recording on a full charge. In extreme weather conditions, like snowy conditions, you can switch the 24/7 recording mode to other working modes to save power.

In addition, the TrackMix LTE Plus 2 also supports the Pre-Record feature, which captures a few seconds of footage before a motion event is detected, ensuring no important moments are missed.   • 4G connectivity

    Both models support 4G LTE, allowing the cameras to operate in areas without Wi-Fi access. By inserting a SIM card, you can set up and monitor the cameras remotely via the Reolink App or Client. This ensures reliable real-time video streaming and alerts, even in locations with limited network infrastructure.

    If you want to use the camera, select a Nano SIM card. Do not insert the IoT or M2M SIM into your camera.

  • Color night vision

    • Reolink TrackMix LTE Plus 2: It features ColorX full-color night vision technology, which uses available ambient light, such as moonlight and street lights, to deliver clear, full-color images in low-light environments. When ambient light is insufficient, you can enable the spotlight for enhanced color night vision or use the IR light for black-and-white night vision.

    • Reolink TrackMix LTE Plus: It is available with 2 night vision modes — full-color night vision with the spotlight on, or infrared black-and-white night vision in extremely low-light conditions.

  • Working in -20℃ cold environment

    • Reolink TrackMix LTE Plus 2: With the RLA-BP1 battery pack and 30W solar panel, TrackMix LTE Plus 2 can operate and charge at temperatures as low as -20°C  (-4°F), ensuring reliable power in cold environments. You can also monitor battery status in real time through the Reolink App, including battery level, temperature, charging status, and other key information.     • Reolink TrackMix LTE Plus: The operating temperature is supported from -10°C to +55°C (-14°F to 131°F).

  • Initial setup & access anywhere

    When using the camera for the first time, you need to complete the initial setup before you can access it both locally and remotely.

    • Complete Initial Setup via Reolink App/Client

      This process initializes your camera, connects it to the network or SIM card, and configures basic settings such as detection, notifications, and recording preferences.

    • Access the Camera Anytime, Anywhere

      After completing the initial setup, you can access the camera at any time using the Reolink App or Client. Supports both local access (within the same network) and remote access (over the internet). You can view live video, playback recordings, adjust camera settings, and receive real-time alerts, providing full control and monitoring from anywhere.

  • Smart Detection & Two-Way Audio: Accurately detects people, vehicles, and animals, with customizable detection settings and alerts. It also supports two-way audio for real-time communication via the built-in microphone and speaker.
  • Storage Options: Both support multiple storage options, including MicroSD Card, Reolink Cloud and FTP Server.
  • Weatherproof Design: They feature a weatherproof design with an IP65 rating, ensuring reliable performance in various outdoor environments, including rain and dust conditions.
