Discover how adjusting Wi-Fi band preferences via the Reolink software can optimize your camera's network performance. You can seamlessly switch between 5GHz and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi frequency bands for optimal connectivity. Please refer to the following steps.

Applies to: TrackMix WiFi, Duo Floodlight WiFi, E1 Zoom (hardware version IPC_566 /  IPC_NT14N), E1 Pro (hardware version IPC_566), E1 Outdoor Pro, E Series E560, RLC-523WA, RLC-510WA, W320, RLC-810WA, W330, RLC-811WA, W430, FE-W, Fisheye Series W520 and Doorbell WiFi

Before you start: Ensure you have the latest version of the Reolink software and the camera's firmware. (Check for firmware updates for your camera on Download Center – Reolink)

The steps for configuring Wi-Fi Band Preference vary depending on how your camera is connected. For standalone cameras, you can configure this setting in the Reolink App, Client, or via the web interface. For cameras directly connected to an NVR via an Eherner cable, you can only configure the camera's Wi-Fi Band Preference on the NVR (connected monitor), while you can still configure the NVR's Wi-Fi Band Preference in the Reolink App, Client, or via the web interface. Select the appropriate guide below based on your setup.

  • Via Reolink App

Step 1. Enter your Reolink App and tap app settings icon to enter the camera's Settings, and then tap Wi-Fi.
