1. Reolink Video Doorbell Overview

Reolink Video Doorbell PoE

It uses only one wire to get a stable network and non-stop powering at the same time. You can connect it to a PoE injector/switch to make it work. Alternatively, the Reolink Video Doorbell PoE can be powered by 24V DC or 12–24V AC (50/60 Hz) and connected to the network with an Ethernet cable.

Reolink Video Doorbell WiFi

Doorbell WiFi supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi bands for a more stable connection. It needs a power supply of DC 24V or AC 12-24V, 50/60 Hz to power it up.

Reolink Video Doorbell (Battery)

The Reolink Video Doorbell (Battery) supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi bands for a more stable connection. It can be charged using a DC 5V 2A adapter or via a power supply of DC 24V or AC 8–24V, 50/60 Hz. (Note: In the latter case, it will only trickle charge the battery instead of powering the doorbell directly.)

Reolink Battery Video Doorbell (2nd Gen)

The Reolink Video Doorbell (Battery) 2nd Gen is an upgraded version of Reolink Video Doorbell (Battery). It can operate in Battery Power Mode or Wired Power Mode (requires 16–24V AC / 24V DC), which unlocks 24/7 recording and pre-recording functionality(standalone use). The battery offers up to 300 days of battery life based on five minutes of recording per day, and the doorbell can be charged via a USB Type-C port or trickle charged via hardwire input (8–24V AC / 24V DC).

  1. Two-Way Audio & Quick Reply
    Communicate with visitors in real time through the built-in two-way audio. When you’re unavailable, you can respond instantly using preset automatic voice replies or by customizing and recording your own message.

    Connect a wireless chime to any power outlet in your home. The chime sounds to alert you whenever someone presses the doorbell button.

    Store videos on an SD card, NVR HDD, Home Hub or FTP server. The WiFi plug-in and battery doorbells also support Reolink Cloud storage for easy backup and access.
  5. Smart Home Integration
    Compatible with Google Home and Alexa, and supports receiving push notifications on both platforms. In addition, doorbell series supports integration with Home Assistant (Note: doorbell battery can only be used with Home Assistant when paired with a Reolink Home Hub series device).
  6. Rich Notifications
    For the WiFi Plug-in and Battery models, rich notification is also supported, with a free plan available for subscription. This feature delivers not only text alerts but also snapshot an image along with push notifications to your phones, enabling you to quickly see what’s happening.
