Rich notifications are notifications that come with on-scene snapshots, which allow you to better know what is going on. Keep on reading to know more about rich notifications and how to enable or disable this feature. This article includes 3 parts as listed below:
1. What is Rich Notification
Rich notifications allow you to know what happened at a glimpse by getting push notifications with snapshots, instead of mere words. Be smartly alerted and take quicker responses with Reolink cameras. Currently, only the following camera models support the Rich Notification feature:

2. After confirming from the table above that your camera supports Rich Notifications, make sure the camera is running the latest firmware version. If necessary, refer to Reolink Firmware Update Guide to update the firmware.
3. Although the cameras listed above support Rich Notifications, this feature is unavailable when the cameras are connected to a Reolink NVR or Home Hub, as Rich Notifications are not supported on these devices. NVRs with Hybrid Mode support are an exception. For more details, see Introduction to Reolink NVR HyBridge Mode.
2. How to Enable Rich Notification
Update the Reolink App to the latest version (Version 4.52 or later).
Step 1: Go to the camera Settings and find the Push Notification option.
Step 2: Enable Push Notification > Text & Image (same as Rich Notification). If you are not logged into your Reolink account, the app will prompt you to log in first. Then, tap Subscribe to the cloud plan.
Step 3: The available plans for your camera will be displayed. Choose one plan to subscribe to.
A. For Video Doorbell series cameras and Reolink Altas series, you have the option to subscribe to a Rich Notification Plan for free, which allows up to 25 images per day. If the limit is reached, you will receive a push notification without an image. If you want unlimited push notifications with an image, you can opt for a paid plan.
B. For other cameras that support push notifications with image, you can choose to subscribe to a paid plan.
Step 4: After subscribing to the plan, make sure your push schedule and detection type settings meet your needs. Once camera detects an alarm, the camera will send push notifications with images to your phone.
3. How to Turn off Rich Notification
If you want to disable the rich push notification, please log in to your camera on the Reolink App, go to Device Settings > Push Notifications, and Disable the Text & Image (same as Rich Notification). Then it will send normal push notifications without the image.
