For security and management purposes, Reolink allows administrators to view the current online users of their devices. This article will guide you through the process of checking online users via the Reolink App, Reolink Client, and web browser.

Applies to: All Reolink cameras, NVRs and Home Hub series.

Different devices support different methods for viewing online users, which can be categorized based on whether the device supports the Advanced Sharing Feature.

Notes:

1. Only administrator accounts can view online user information. Refer to Introduction to Admin Account and User Account for details on account roles.

  • Via Reolink App

    Applies to: Reolink devices that support the Advanced Sharing Feature.

    If the device has been accessed by other users through the Advanced Sharing Feature, the administrator account can view information about the shared users directly from the Reolink App.

    Step 1. Launch the Reolink App and log in to the Reolink device with the administrator account. Tap Settings > Advanced.

    Step 2. Tap Share Device. The list of users who have access to this device will be displayed, along with the permission expiration time.

    Tap on a specific user to view or change their permissions.

    You can adjust user permissions or tap Cancel Sharing to revoke the user’s access.

  • Via Reolink Client

    Part 1. Devices that do not support the Advanced Sharing Feature

    Step 1. Launch Reolink Client and log in to your camera or NVR using the administrator account. Go to SettingsSystem > User Management page.

    Step 2. In this interface, you will see the list of online users and the IP addresses currently connected to your device.

    As an administrator, you can delete unwanted user accounts or change user passwords to manage access to the device more securely.

    Part 2. Devices that support the Advanced Sharing Feature.

    If the device has been accessed by other users through the Advanced Sharing Feature, the administrator account can view information about the shared users directly from the Reolink Client. 

    Step 1. Launch Reolink Client and log in to the device with the administrator account.

    Step 2. Navigate to Settings > System > Share Device.

    In the Share Device interface, you can:

    • View the list of shared users.
    • Check the expiration date of the shared access.
    • See the connection status of each user (Online/Disconnected).

    Click on a user to edit permissions or cancel sharing to revoke access.

  • Via Reolink Web browser

    Applies to: All Reolink PoE NVRs and IP cameras except for all Reolink battery-powered cameras, Reolink WiFi NVR system, Reolink E1, Reolink E1 Pro, B400, D400, B500, D500, B800, D800, B1200, D1200 and Reolink Lumus

    Step 1. Log in to your camera or NVR using the administrator account via a web browser.

    Step 2. Navigate to Device Settings > System > User Management. Here, you can view which IP addresses are currently connected to the device.

    Administrator users can manage access by removing unwanted accounts or updating passwords from this page.
