1. Poor night vision

Description of the phenomenon: Half of the nighttime image is dark and half of it is overexposed.

Cause: Improper installation angle

Solution: Adjust the camera angle so that the IR lights are not reflected by the wall. 

2. Night vision is not working

Description of the phenomenon: The night vision image is totally dark and we can't see anything but the IR lights are still lit on.

Cause: Hardware defect of the camera (IR cut is defective).


1. Please check the Day/Night mode of the camera and make sure it is "Auto" mode and also manually switch the mode to see if the image is back to normal. You may refer here to how to switch Day/night mode

2. Please cover the day/night sensor with your hands, or put the camera in a dark environment to test whether it will switch mode automatically. 

3. Please hard reset the camera and set it up from factory status to check if the image is back to normal.
