The symptoms for Reolink NVR not turning on is the power LED on the front panel of the NVR is off.
Troubleshooting Steps for Reolink NVR not Powering on
1. Ensure you're using the original Reolink NVR power adapter. If it has an indicator light, ensure that the light is illuminated.
2. Change to other compatible Reolink NVR power supply devices, such as DC adapters and sockets.
3. Try to unplug the HDD from the Reolink NVR. You may open the NVR housing and refer to the below picture to unplug the HDD.
If removing the HDD resolves the issue, here are the next steps you can take:
- Make sure the firmware version of the Reolink NVR is the latest. Reolink Firmware Update Guide
- Confirm if you are using the original HDD in the NVR. If possible, replace the HDD with another one for testing purposes. This can help determine if the issue lies with the HDD itself.
4. Please disconnect all cameras first. If this resolves the issue, reconnect them one by one to identify if a specific camera is causing the problem. Note: If it is confirmed to be a camera problem, please provide the camera's model and quantity when contacting the Reolink Support Team.
