Applies to: All Reolink Cameras and NVRs
For cameras or NVRs that are not set up yet, please finish the intial setup firstly.
For cameras or NVRs that are already connected to a network (router), there are 3 methods to add it to Reolink app.
Method 1. Add by using add devices automatically
By default, the reolink app has add devices automatically option enabled. And it can automatically detect Reolink camera and NVR in the same network (LAN) and add it by default username(admin) and password.
Please check the device list on the reolink app directly to see if your camera or NVR is added already. You may need to enter the new password if you have changed the default password (blank) of the camera or NVR.
When add devices automatically option is disabled, you can still add reolink camera and NVR in the same network by searching in LAN. Click + from home page, then click LAN to proceed.
Method 2. Add by scaning QR code of the Reolink device
In the case, camera or NVR has not added automatically, please go to the Reolink app to click + icon from home page, and scan QR code of the camera or NVR. (for NVR KIT, we need scan QR code of the NVR to add the system to reolink app).
If the QR code of the reolink device is lost or blurry, you can still add it by manually enter its UID numbers. Click + from home page, then click on Enter. Input the UID of the camera/NVR and click Next to proceed.
Method 3. Add by manually entering the IP or DDNS of the Reolink device
Knowing the IP of the camera or NVR, or camera/NVR being set up with DDNS (domain name) access, we can also add it by manually entering it's IP or DDNS address.
Click + from home page, then click on Enter. Click Add via IP, then please input IP or DDNS of the camera/NVR, and input it's Media port then click Next to proceed.
