For some Reolink cameras which support smart person, vehicle, and pet or animal detection, follow the steps below to set up the sensitivity for Person, Vehicle, Pet and Animal as you want.
Applies to: All cameras with smart detection
Before setting up, upgrade the Reolink App to the latest version and the device to the latest firmware version.
Step 1. Log in to your device on the Reolink App to access the Smart Detection page.
Note: The navigation path differs depending on the device connection.
For the standalone camera (left image) — tap the icon > Smart Detection;
For Reolink camera added to Home Hub/NVR (right image) — tap the icon next to the camera> Smart Detection;
Step 2. Select Person, Vehicle or Animal to set the corresponding alarm settings. Then drag the slider to adjust the sensitivity — drag left to decrease sensitivity and right to increase it.
Step 3. Tap Motion Detection to set its sensitivity and schedule. Drag the slider to adjust the sensitivity.
Step 4. (Optional) Tap Add Sensitivity Schedule to set the period and sensitivity for motion detection. And tap Save. Then you can preview the configured sensitivity and schedule settings.
Note that the detection alarm types may be slightly different for different camera models. Refer to Introduction to Reolink Smart Detection to learn more about detection types and supported models.
