Troubleshooting Guide on Reolink Wired IP Camera Keep Going Offline
1. Check physical connections.
- Verify Ethernet cable: Replace the Ethernet cable and try connecting the camera to a different network port.
- Inspect power supply: Confirm that the camera is receiving power. Please make sure you use compliant PoE power supply equipment or DC adapters.
Note: If the device is a doorbell, the power adapter should be 24V DC or 12-24V AC. Or the transformer should be 16V AC, 50/60 Hz, 30 VA. When the doorbell is powered by the existing wiring, it is recommended to connect a jumper wire.
2. Adjust camera settings and examine access terminals.
- Connect your phone or PC to an alternate network for a try.
- Exit the phone App/PC Client, then reopen it for a test.
- Change to use another phone App or PC Client and see if the same camera offline issue exists.
3. Inspect the camera itself.
- Reboot the camera and the router. If possible, it's recommended to reset the router instead of simply rebooting it.
- Reset the camera. You may refer to How to Hard Reset Device by Pressing the Reset Button
4. Check network configuration.
- Make sure the router does not have the following settings enabled: firewall, VPN, MAC filtering, or AP isolation.
- Try a different router or switch: If possible, test the camera on a different network to rule out any network-specific issues such as router misconfigurations or faulty network equipment.
