For Other Reolink Devices
In general, Reolink cameras and NVRs do not support deleting specific video footage stored on the Micro SD card or HDD directly via Reolink software (App or Client).
If you wish to delete certain clips, you will need to remove the Micro SD card or HDD and delete the files manually on a computer.
Note: The HDD can only be recognized by the computer by using the adapter cable.
If you don't want to take out the Micro SD card and HDD, the camera and NVR will automatically overwrite the old files when the SD card and HDD are at capacity and then continue to record.
You may refer to the following methods to format the SD card to erase the recorded videos or check the status of the Micro SD card in the camera.
- Check/Format the Micro SD Card via Reolink Client (New Client)
- Check/Format the Micro SD Card via Reolink App
- Check/Format the Micro SD Card via Web Browser (not applies to battery-powered cameras)
You may also refer to the following methods to format the HDD to erase the recorded videos or check the status of the HDD in the NVR.
