Looking to personalize your Reolink App experience? This guide explains the various options under Me > Settings, such as notification sound, display mode, storage path, and more—so you can customize how the app looks, sounds, and behaves on your Android or iPhone device.
Launch the Reolink App and go to Me > Settings.
Note: The settings interface varies slightly between Android and iPhone devices.
Android iPhone
On this page, you can change the following settings.

Notification Sound: Change the sound you hear when receiving a push notification on your mobile phone. Please note that the settings differ between iPhone and Android devices.
- Android phones: The notification sound is determined by your phone’s system settings.

iPhone: Five options are available: Classic, Soft, Loud, Joy, and Follow System.

Storage Path: ONLY available for Android phones.

Android phones: You can view the save location for manually captured snapshots and recordings from the camera preview interface, as well as the location for video files downloaded from the SD card or HDD.

iPhone: Captured images and videos will be saved to your phone’s album by default.

- APP Password: Enable setting a password to protect the app. You may refer to How to Set a Protection Password for Reolink App for more instructions.
- Dark Mode/Appearance: Display the App in Light Mode or Dark Mode.
- Clear Cache: ONLY available on iPhone. Clear the temporarily generated data to get the App working more smoothly. To clear the cache on Android App, please refer to clear cache.
- Default Player: The default player offers two viewing modes—Classic Mode for a standard 1:1 aspect ratio and Fullscreen Mode for an immersive, adjustable viewing experience—allowing users to choose the most suitable display format for their device and camera type. - Auto Live View: Enter the live view page when the App starts.
- Add Devices Automatically: Add devices to the device list automatically when on the same LAN.
- Data Usage Warning: Be alerted when playing videos with cellular data.
- Hardware Decoding: ONLY available for Android phones. Using the phone's hardware to decode the stream when playing the video. If there is a compatibility issue, please disable it.
- Multi-View Stretch: Videos will auto-stretch to full view in the multi-view display.
- Join User Experience Program: Join the experience program to help improve our products & service. You are free to join or quit the program at any time you wish.
