Some Reolink cameras can support both SD card and cloud recording. Here we will introduce the working principle for these 2 kinds of recording methods.
Normally, the video will be recorded to the SD card directly if there is an SD card installed on the battery-powered cameras.
If you also bind your camera to the cloud server, it can also record videos to the cloud server.
Cloud storage and SD storage are independent. The recordings can be saved to your Reolink account and an SD card at the same time.
Currently, Reolink Cloud is compatible with various Reolink camera models across different global regions (click Reolink Cloud Availability to learn more).
If you do not want to record to Reolink account, you can unbind the camera from the Cloud account.
