If you haven’t acquired the App, scan QR code shown below to download and install Reolink App on your iOS or Android phones.
Set up the Camera
Power up your Argus camera and place it in the same room with your router first.
Please follow the prompt tone to configure the camera "Camera has been started up. Please run Reolink App, add the camera and set it up".
If you couldn't hear this voice prompt, please refer to the instruction to reset your camera
Step 1. Tap on the icon in the top right corner to start configuration.
Step 2. Scan the QR code on the back of the camera. If the phone doesn't respond, please click on the Enter button below the scan window and then type in the 16-digits characters under the QR code of the camera.
Step 3. Click Connect to Wi-Fi to continue.
Step 4. Click the button I have heard the voice prompt to enter the next page.
Step 5. Enter the Wi-Fi password of the selected Wi-Fi network( you can click on the icon to double check it) and press Next to enter the next page.
Step 6. A QR code will be generated on the phone. Please place the QR code on your phone
towards Reolink Argus 2 camera’s lens at a distance of about 20cm (8 inches) to let the
camera scan the QR code. Please make sure that you’ve ripped the protection film of the
camera’s lens. Tips: You can double click on the QR code to enlarge the picture.
After you hear the camera's voice prompt Scan Succeeds. The camera is connecting to your router, please wait, you can click on Scan Succeeds.
Step 7: If you hear "Connection to the router succeeded", you can click on the Connection to the router succeeded button.
Or if you hear "Connection to the router failed", please press Connection to the router failed button for help. There is an article which guides you check if your WiFi settings on the router match with the camera.
The installation is finished and you can move it to the position you want. Here is an article to choose a good position for the camera.
You may need to initialize your camera to watch live view or configure more settings. Please refer to this instruction.
