There are several possible causes for the IR LEDs to stop working. You may then follow the troubleshooting tips listed below to solve the problem.

Cause 1. Incorrect IR light settings

Solution: Go to Device Settings->Advanced page and check whether you have enabled Infrared Lights and set the mode to Auto to activate the IR lights. And then please to the Settings ->Display page to enable the Auto mode for Day and Night. You may also directly reset your device to change the light settings to default.

Note: Infrared lights settings is only for the models released after 2018.


Cause 2. The firmware of your device is out-dated.

Solution: Upgrade your camera's firmware to the latest version, restore it to factory settings, and check the IR light settings again.
