Troubleshooting Steps for No Video Output on the Monitor/TV from Reolink NVRs
1. Use an HDMI/VGA cable shorter than 15 meters.
2. Ensure the monitor's minimum resolution is at least 720p, or it won't be able to display any video from the NVR.
3. Try a different HDMI/VGA cable:
- If the issue is resolved with a different cable of the same type, the original cable is likely faulty.
- If the problem is fixed with a different type of cable, it is suggested to continue using the currently working cable.
- If the issue persists, proceed with the following steps.
4. Try using a different monitor to see if the problem is resolved.
5. Attempt to restore or reset the NVR:
- If you can still access the NVR via the Reolink App/Reolink Client, restore the NVR. Refer to How to Restore Reolink Products.
- If not, reset the NVR by pressing the reset button. Refer to How to Hard Reset Device by Pressing the Reset Button.
If the issue still cannot be resolved, please provide a brief description of the problem, the troubleshooting steps you have already tried, and the NVR's UID, contact Support. They will carefully review the issue and send you firmware and instructions for a forced upgrade of the NVR.
