Reolink Argus, Argus Pro, Argus 2
If you couldn’t receive Email alerts from your Argus, please follow the guide to correct it.
Step 1. Check Email Settings.
Make sure you input all the correct Email info and tap “Email Test”. See whether the “Email Test” is a success. If “Email Test” failed, go to set up email on reolink app. If “Email Test” is a success please go on:
Step 2. Check PIR Schedule.
Go to PIR Settings >> PIR Schedule, and make sure you configure the PIR schedule when you want the alerts to be sent.
Step 3. Check whether the camera is faulty with PIR motion detection.
Under PIR Settings, turn on “Enable Siren” and “Record”, then wave your hands in front of the camera to manually trigger an alarm. Then check if the camera will sound alarm and record a clip.
If it doesn’t, it’s likely the camera is faulty, which you need to report to Reolink Support.
Step 4. If the camera can be triggered properly in Step 3, yet you still receive no Email alerts. Please go to “E-mail Settings”, and choose to send no attachment. See if Email alerts can come through after this operation.
If you go through the steps above yet not even one Email alert is received, please report to Reolink Support by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org attach UID and password of the camera for a thorough check.
