You could refer to the guides below to change the display of the Reolink camera, such as image quality, camera name, and day/night mode, etc.
Applies to: All Reolink cameras.
Step 1. Tap the setting icon to the Settings page. Tap Display.
Step 2. On the display settings page, you can change the settings below:
Note: The display settings options vary between different models. Refer to the actual display interface of your specific model. For details on feature availability by model or to learn more about a specific configuration, click the link corresponding to that feature.
1. Image Flip: Rotates the camera's image orientation.
- Flip Vertical: Flips the image 180 degrees vertically (top becomes bottom).
- Flip Horizontal: Flips the image 180 degrees horizontally (left becomes right).
Note: This setting is not available for dual lens cameras. Additionally, a 90-degree rotation is not supported on all Reolink cameras; only the 180-degree flips listed are configurable.
2. Stream: Configure the performance and quality of the clear and fluent streams. Key configurable options include: Resolution, Bitrate & Bitrate Mode, Frame Rate & Frame Rate Mode, Encoding Format.
3. Motion Mark: When Clear Mode is selected, detected moving objects will be marked, making it easier to identify which activity triggered the camera’s alarm.
4. OSD (On-Screen Display): Customize the informational graphics overlaid on your camera feed.
- Camera Name: Position the assigned camera name at any screen corner (Top-Left, Top-Right, Bottom-Left, Bottom-Right, top/bottom center, or disable its display).
- Date: Position the current date and time at any screen corner (Top-Left, Top-Right, Bottom-Left, Bottom-Right, top/bottom center, or disable its display).
- Logo Watermark: Enable or disable the display of the Reolink logo on the video feed.
5. Image Settings: These settings control the fundamental visual properties of your camera's video output.
- Brightness: Adjust the overall light level of the image to achieve optimal visibility.
- Anti-Flicker: Reduces or eliminates the banding and flickering effect caused by artificial lighting or other light sources, minimizing the impact of light source fluctuations on video stability.
- HDR: With HDR enabled, the camera combines multiple images with varying exposures to reveal more detailed and true-to-life visuals.
6. Day and Night:
- Switch mode: Switch between day and night modes. Set to Auto so the camera can automatically switch between black-and-white and color modes based on the surrounding light conditions. You can also adjust the switching threshold to control the ambient brightness level at which the mode changes.
-
Adjust Highlight/Shadow: There are several modes available, with Auto as the default. When set to Manual:
Highlight: Adjust the brightness of bright areas to prevent overexposure and restore details.
Shadow: Adjust the brightness of dark areas to reveal more details in low-light areas.
7. Image Stitching: Applicable to dual-lens cameras. This function allows you to adjust the stitching effect between the two lens views, creating a seamless combined image. You can fine-tune the alignment and overlap area for a natural, continuous wide-angle field of view.
8. Privacy Mask: A vital feature for protecting privacy. It allows you to define specific rectangular zones within the camera's view (e.g., a neighbor's window or a private area) that will be permanently masked in black in the live feed and recorded video.
