Reolink battery-powered cameras offer convenient charging options. You may charge them via a power adapter or solar panel. This guide will walk you through both methods to ensure your camera stays operational.

For the following models, refer to the specific guides:

Method 1: Charge the Camera with a DC 5V/2A Power Adapter

  1. Connect the charging cable to the camera and the power adapter. 
  2. Plug the adapter into a power outlet. 
  3. Wait until the battery is fully charged.

Method 2: Charge the Camera with a Reolink Solar Panel

Applies to: Which Cameras Can Work with Reolink Solar Panel

  1. Install the solar panel in a location with sufficient sunlight: How to Use Solar Panel.
  2. Connect the solar panel cable to the camera’s charging port. 
  3. Make sure the connection is secure and weather-protected.

Method 3: Charge the Battery Separately (Only for Cameras with Removable Batteries)

Applies to: Argus 2, Argus Pro and Go series.

  1. Remove the battery from the camera. 
  2. Connect the battery to a USB power adapter using a USB charging cable, plug the adapter into a power outlet. 
  3. Wait until the battery is fully charged before reinstalling it into the camera.
