If you're experiencing issues with your bullet or dome camera and need to reset it, you may follow the steps below to reset your bullet or dome cameras to factory defaults by pressing the Reset button.
Applies to: All Reolink cameras except for battery-powered ones, E1 series, FE-P, FE-W, Video Doorbell Series, Reolink Lumus, Reolink Duo series, and TrackMix series cameras.

1. The position of the reset button may vary depending on the type of camera.
2. After resetting, your camera will return to factory default settings: username (admin) and password (no password).
3. If you have a NVR in the same network, and camera keeps saying "incorrect username or password" or "Authentication failed" when access the camera individually, the NVR may have assigned a password to the camera. To improve the security of camera access, the NVR (new UI) has the function of assigning a password to the camera. Refer to the following steps to reset the camera.
Step 1. Power off the camera.
Step 2. Press the Reset button and hold on, then power on the camera while pressing the Reset button.
Note: Please ensure that your camera is properly powered on. You can confirm if the camera is powered on by checking if the IR light/spotlight is on.
Step 3. Hold for about 10 seconds then release the Reset button. Done!

The reset button is next to the microSD card slot.
Step 1. Power off the camera.
Step 2. Unscrew the SD card cover, press the reset button for 5-10 seconds.
Step 3. Power on the camera, hold on the reset button until you hear a musical tone, release reset button. Done!
Note: Please ensure that your camera is properly powered on. You can confirm if the camera is powered on by checking if the IR light/spotlight is on.

Step 1. Power off the camera.
Step 2. Press the Reset button and hold on, then power on the camera while pressing the Reset button.
Note: Please ensure that your camera is properly powered on. You can confirm if the camera is powered on by checking if the IR light/spotlight is on.
Step 3. Hold for about 10 seconds then release the Reset button. Done!
For RLC-823S1, RLC-823S2, RLC-823S1W:
Press the reset button for more than 5s and release it, then you will hear the reset sound to notify you reset has been operated successfully. Done!
