If you encounter the following issues with your Reolink doorbell:

  1. Noise, unusual sounds, or vibrations when pressing the doorbell camera.
  2. Old doorbells or chimes near the camera vibrate when you press the Reolink doorbell.
  3. The doorbell rings only after pressing the Reolink camera several times.

Troubleshooting Steps for Reolink Doorbell Performance Issues

  1. Ensure power supply compliance. The power supply should meet the following specifications:

    • Adapter: 24V DC or 12-24V AC
    • Transformer: 16V AC, 50/60 Hz, 30 VA
    • When connecting the Reolink doorbell to existing wiring, consider using a jumper wire.
  2. Update camera's firmware. Ensure the doorbell has the latest firmware. Check for updates on the Download Center – Reolink. If your model is not listed, provide the camera model, hardware version, and current firmware version, and contact Reolink Support.

  3. Check internal wiring. If the internal wiring of the Reolink doorbell is loose, reconnect the wires securely.

  4. Test with jumper wire. If using an existing transformer, add a jumper wire to see if the issue is resolved. Refer to: How to Install Reolink Video Doorbell Cameras to the Existing Doorbell Wiring.

  5. Replace power equipment: Use compliant power equipment if necessary, such as a suitable adapter, transformer, or PoE components (switch, cables, port, NVR, injector).

If the issue remains unresolved, please provide the following information and contact Support:

  1. The camera model and quantity.
  2. A complete video demonstrating the issue.
  3. The System Information page from the camera or NVR, including model, hardware version, and firmware version. Refer to: How to Find out System Information (Firmware Version) via Reolink Software
