1. The Reolink camera is powered on correctly. You can check if the IR/spotlight illuminates at night to determine if the camera is receiving power.
2. The Reolink Wi-Fi camera connects to the NVR's Wi-Fi.
3. The Reolink Wi-Fi camera is completely disconnected from the Wi-Fi NVR and does not reconnect automatically. If the camera experiences intermittent disconnections, refer to this article to enhance the Wi-Fi signal: How to Boost Reolink Wi-Fi NVR's Signal.
Troubleshooting Steps for Connecting Reolink Wi-Fi Camera to NVR
1. Restart the camera and NVR.
2. If the camera disconnects due to changes in the Wi-Fi NVR's SSID/password, it is recommended to perform a hard reset of the NVR to restore the original SSID/password and check if the camera reconnects. Note that a hard reset will clear Wi-Fi configurations, so any cameras that were still working normally will need to be reconfigured via a wired connection after the reset. To perform a hard reset:
- Power off the NVR and hold down the Reset button.
- Power on the NVR while holding the Reset button until you hear a beep, then release the Reset button.
3. If possible, move the camera closer to the Wi-Fi NVR.
4. Connect the Reolink Wi-Fi camera to the NVR via an Ethernet cable.
- If the camera works, reconnect it to Wi-Fi and observe its performance.
- If the camera does not work, try connecting it directly to the router using an Ethernet cable and check if it operates normally in the App or Client.
