Reolink introduces a new Wi-Fi connection method during initialization — via Bluetooth. This method is particularly useful when lighting conditions make it challenging for cameras to capture QR codes clearly. This article guides you through the process of configuring Wi-Fi connection via Bluetooth.
Applies to: Argus 4, Argus 4 Pro, Altas PT, Altas PT Ultra, ReolinkTrackMix(BIPC_NT2BNO38MPW4SD7V6), Reolink E1 Outdoor CX, E1 Pro(IPC_NT1NA45MP), E1 Zoom(IPC_NT1NA8MPSD6), Lumus Pro.
Preparation: Grant Bluetooth permissions for the Reolink App and turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
Here is a video for your reference.

Step 2. Wait for the camera to power up and broadcast the multilingual voice prompt "Welcome from Reolink. Please install the Reolink App and scan the QR code on the camera".
Step 3. Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to initiate the setup.
Step 4. Scan the QR code on the back of the camera. Alternatively, tap Input UID/IP and enter the UID (16-digit characters under the QR code). Then tap Next.
Step 5. Tap Configure Wi-Fi via Bluetooth.
Step 6. Make sure the device is powered and turned on, then hit Next.
Step 7. If you hear the voice prompts from the camera, tick correspondingly and tap Next.
Step 8. Grant Bluetooth permissions for the Reolink App and wait for the App to search and connect to your device automatically via Bluetooth. Devices with Android 12 or above also need to allow the "Precise Location" and "Find and connect nearby devices" permissions. iOS device only needs to allow Bluetooth permissions.
Step 9. After a successful connection, enter the Wi-Fi name and Wi-Fi password for the camera.
Step 10. Start Device Initialization. Create a login password for the camera and then hit Next. (The default login username is admin and cannot be modified.)
Step 11. Create a name for your camera.
Step 12. After finishing the initialization, you can choose to save the QR code of the device to your album
for future sharing with others.
