Reolink introduces a new Wi-Fi connection method during initialization — via Bluetooth. This method is particularly useful when lighting conditions make it challenging for cameras to capture QR codes clearly. This article guides you through the process of configuring Wi-Fi connection via Bluetooth.

Note: The same camera model may have different hardware versions, resulting in different setup methods. Scan the QR code on the device in the app: if the app prompts Bluetooth setup, follow the instructions below; if it guides you to scan QR code on the app to set up, refer to this article for battery-powered camera and Plug-in Wi-Fi camera.

The Reolink Client does not support configuring cameras via Bluetooth. If you’d like to preview and manage your camera on the Reolink Client, you must first complete the configuration using the Reolink App, and then add the camera to the Reolink Client. For details on adding a camera to the Reolink Client, refer to: How to Add Cameras or NVRs by UID via Reolink Client (New Client)
