If the camera displays a ghosting or smearing image on the moving object at night, you can follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

Cause 1. Improper installation.

Solution: Make sure that there are no obstacles near the camera that might reflect its IR lights or spotlights. Adjust the camera lens properly to avoid reflection. 

Cause 2. Improper image settings.

Solution: It is recommended to keep the image settings at default. If you have adjusted the image settings before, try to restore the device.

Cause 3. Dropped frame rate. 

Solution: The frame rate of the camera might drop down automatically at night. To avoid this situation, you can configure a fixed/constant frame rate for the camera to ensure image smoothness.
