This article will guide you on how to change the local network settings for Reolink NVR to avoid IP conflict.

Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N2MB02/N3MB01/N7MB01), RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N6MB01), RLN36 and RLN12W.

Reolink NVR can serve as a DHCP device for the cameras directly connected to it. These cameras will have the IP address segment 172.16.X.X.

When the NVR is assigned an IP address with the same network segment 172.16. X. X from the router, many local network connection issues will occur. The NVR, for example, fails to be connected to LAN; or cameras connected to the NVR lose network connection when the NVR connects to the router.

To avoid IP conflict, you can change the default gateway of the cameras which are connected to the NVR. Please follow the steps below to make it.

Step1. Log in to your NVR on a monitor, right-click on the screen, and click the Settings button.
